The newest update for Angry Birds Rio
is now available! This update concludes Smuggler’s Plane with a
nail-biting boss fight against the nefarious Nigel. Can the Angry Birds
save their friends in time and escape from a moving airplane?
If you’re a fan of Rio, you’ll notice that this scene is right at the end of the movie! Don’t worry though, we’ll still be creating great new content for Angry Birds Rio based on deleted scenes and extras from the movie. So keep your eyes peeled for even more great Angry Birds Rio levels coming up soon!
If you haven’t checked out Angry Birds Rio yet -- what have you been doing with your time?! -- it follows the furious fowl after they get kidnapped and shipped to Rio! This features the same great gameplay as the original games, but with new characters and beautiful new settings based on scenes from the Rio movie.
Since its release in March 2011, Angry Birds Rio has gotten an amazing reception. It's been downloaded 120 million times and won “Best Mobile Game” at the Mobile Excellence Awards, “Best Mobile Game” at the Golden Joysticks, iLounge Reader’s Choice 2011, and was selected as one of the top games at BAFTA Kids’ Vote.
